Bigg Boss 16 February 4, 2023 Written Update: Sumbul leaves the house, Salman Khan to return as host for finale

Karan Johar asks Stan, Shiv and Sumbul, who were nominated for eviction, how they are feeling. Karan then asks the housemates if they thought that Archana played the previous task with a personal vengeance in mind, and most of them agree. Archana tries to defend herself, and Karan actually says that she is lying when she makes contradictory statements. He mentions Shiv’s uncomfortable state and how Archana wasted food as well. Karan grills Archana and says that what she did was wrong and disgusting.

Karan sets up a 'katghara', and puts housemates into the same, and appoints a lawyer as well. Shiv is put in the katghara first, and Priyanka becomes the lawyer. The conversation becomes about the mandali. Archana is in the katghara first, and Nimrit turns lawyer. Archana is questioned about how she had gone to the mandali to evict Ankit. One of the allegations against Archana is about how she does most things for the camera. Stan is also made a lawyer.

Priyanka is in the katghara first, and Shiv is the lawyer. Karan says that Priyanka is the only person in the history of the show who has been unable to form any true bonds inside the house. Shiv agrees. Priyanka tries to defend herself and says that she cannot fake any kind of bonds, and if she does not vibe with one, she cannot force them. Shiv says that only the persons who agree with Priyanka can be her friends. Karan alleges that Priyanka always ends friendships when someone disagrees with her.

Then Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta enter the Bigg Boss house to promote their upcoming film Shiv Shastri Balboa, which will be released in theatres on February 10, 2023. It is Anupam’s first time in the house, while Neena had come on the show earlier as well. They have a cathartic task for the housemates. They brought a punching bag, and the housemates are asked to vent their frustrations out onto the bag.

Archana is given the first turn, and she sticks Shalin’s photo on the bag, and Shalin even holds the bag for her. Shalin sticks Archana’s photo, Priyanka sticks Shalin’s, Stan sticks Archana’s, Sumbul sticks Shalin’s, Shiv sticks Archana’s and Nimrit also sticks Archana’s.

Iulia Vantur comes to the show to promote her song, and she even sings it for the contestants as well. She interacts with the contestants, and Priyanka, Nimrit, Archana, Sumbul, Shalin and Shiv also dance. Stan raps. Before she goes, Iulia leaves a gift for the contestants.

Karan goes onto the eviction of the week, and announces Sumbul’s name. She is visibly relieved at this. She has a joyful goodbye. The host says that Salman Khan will return to host the show for the finale episode, and Archana jokes whether she will get a scolding from Salman.

Archana laments that she seems to have spoiled her own fate through the way she behaved during the last task. Stan rejoices at the fact that he can go home after 10 days, and Nimrit says it feels like it feels like an eternity.
