Bigg Boss 16 grand premiere is here on October 1, 2022. The show, hosted by Salman Khan, has already become iconic. Right from the first contestant reveal to guesses about the upcoming contestants to Bigg Boss himself playing the game, this time the show promises to be special.

Sajid Khan is here. He takes over hosting from Salman Khan and denies being a contestant on Bigg Boss 16, only to confirm that he is indeed the contestant on the show.

Sajid says he was jobless for four months and Salman talks about being Sajid's childhood friend. The two hint about his #MeToo case. He also talks about being taken away from Bachchhan Paandey.

Sajid wants to erase some things her said in interviews. He, however, hopes to work on instinct itself and refuses to find love on the show.

Shehnaaz Gill shares a special message for Sajid Khan. He calls her sweet and recalls meeting her for a project.

A recorded video of Sreejita plays, where she denies that Tina is her friend. She speaks about Tina creating issues.

Meanwhile, Archana argues as Nimrit says that she might switch Archana's place. Archana gets up in fury and tries to fight with Nimrit. With that, everyone except Shiv get furious with Archana.

Tina Datta enters the stage getting a Bengali mithai for Salman. She hopes to get hitched on the show.

Salman teases Bigg Boss while motivating Sumbul. Meanwhile, Archana makes fun of Sumbul's name with Shiv.

Soundarya Sharma enters the show reminding people that she is a doctor (dentist) by degree. The actress grooves to Aafat and calls herself an alpha female before meeting Salman.

She is introduced to Shiv Thakare through a photo. He is Bigg Boss Marathi 2 winner and portrays himself as a proud Marathi maanus. He calls himself a zero hoping to become hero through the show.

Shalin Bhanot makes his entry just as Nimrit has been reminded of her responsibility, Knowing his temper and how she has been put in a spot, something interesting is guaranteed.

He confesses that he hasn't followed the show. Just like we guessed, Shalin has no intentions of working if forced upon him. The actor, however, apologizes if he cannot perform as expected.

Nimrit is called to the confession room. Bigg Boss is upset with her since she did not allot rooms and responsibilities by herself but took everybody's opinion on that. She has a second opportunity to prove herself.

Salman jokes that he has seen MC Stan for the first time through the show. MC Stan reveals that he has Rs. 60-70 lac worth jewellery on him for the premiere episode.

Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary from Udaariyaan fame enter on Naach Punjaaban song. The Udaariyaan couple is touted to be a couple in real life too. They are loved as #PriyankIt.

Salman teases the couple too saying Priyanka's hair is on Ankit's chin. She says they are upset with each other and fight more often these days but also says that they will always have love for each other.

Abdu Rozik enters the show singing Papa Kehte Hai and Dil Deewana. Salman joins him in crooning the tracks.

Abdu, who is also a boxer, promises to beat up anyone who gets angry in the house. He hopes to become captain because Abdu loves to give people orders.

He meets and becomes cordial with Nimrit already. She finds him a cute 19-year-old.
