Bigg Boss 16 January 10, 2023 LIVE Highlights: MC Stan breaks down in his mother’s arms

Family week continues on Bigg Boss, as more loved ones of the housemates make their way inside the house on the latest episode of the show.

Here’s all that happened in the latest episode of Bigg Boss season 16:

Day 100, 8:30 PM IST

Bigg Boss asks Sajid about how he felt about Farah’s appearance. He talks about their dynamic and how grateful he was to see his sibling. Bigg Boss asks Sajid to take an interview with Farah and bring out a never before seen avatar of Farah.

Day 100, 9:00 PM IST

Archana is busy making parathas for Shiv’s mother Asha, who waits for her to join her for dinner as well. Asha waits for Archana and Soundarya to dine with her. Asha reveals that in 40 years she has not eaten any food made by anyone else till then.

Farah and Sajid are called into the activity room.

Day 100, 9:30 PM IST

Farah mocks Sajid and the two have fun banter when the latter interviews Farah. Sajid is incessantly roasted by Farah. Farah and Sajid narrate an incident where the two had a fight as children. Farah reveals that she is a big fan of Bigg Boss. The housemates also see the interview in the living area.

Sajid tells a story where Farah had broken the bike of a couple of boys who had beaten Sajid. Farah also talks about how ‘maternal’ Sajid behaved towards Abdu. Sajid announces that he will take Abdu home. Farah also calls Stan and Shiv her brothers as well. Sajid says that although his life in the Bigg Boss was difficult, he was grateful for the contestants and the way he was treated.

Day 100, 10:00 PM IST

The housemates celebrate Farah’s birthday with cake. Bigg Boss freezes everyone and Farah soon has to leave. One by one, he releases Sajid, Stan, Shiv, Nimrit, Abdu and Sumbul, Shalin, Archana, Soundarya, Priyanka, and finally Tina so that they get a chance to say goodbye to Farah.

Day 100, 10:45 PM IST

Shiv’s mother hugs and kisses Abdu. Abdu tells Shiv is like his brother and says that they will go together to Bigg Boss UK.

Day 100, 12:15 AM IST

Sajid and Stan joke about how Sumbul’s father will attack Shalin if he comes on the show.

Day 101, 8:00 AM IST

Shiv’s mother approaches Shalin in search of Shiv, and Shalin leads her to the room. Soon the siren rings and the rest of the housemates soon wake up.

Day 101, 8:45 AM IST

Stan says that he has some coffee powder. Shiv’s mother asks Shalin to not tease Shiv and let him become captain one more time.

Soundarya asks Tina to keep the coffee in the common area. Tina discusses how coffee will now have to be shared among 12 people. Priyanka and Tina tell Priyanka’s brother to be prepared for a scene, and make a ruckus over the new division of coffee. The former asks why Soundarya should be counted since she’s vegan. Soundarya argues that everything, including meat, is divided among 12 people. Soundarya calls Priyanka small hearted, while Priyanka says that even almond butter should be distributed among 12 people. Shiv’s mother laughs at the proceedings.

Nimrit observes that Tina never seems to start an argument by herself.

Day 101, 11:00 AM IST

Priyanka’s brother asks why Sumbul speaks so less, and says that he interacted least with Sumbul. Priyanka says that her brother had praised Sumbul.

Shalin jokes that there is a ‘dosh’ in his kundli, called ‘Salman dosh’. He apologises, while Shiv’s mother laughs. Shiv’s mother defends Shalin in front of Shiv. Asha says that everyone has to act in the game, and Shalin is a TV actor, and criticises Shiv for hurting Shalin. She asks Shiv to make Shalin captain ones.

Day 101, 12:00 PM IST

Shiv’s mother and Priyanka’s brother soon have to leave, while the housemates are frozen. Shiv’s mother goes around blessing everyone. She tears up when leaving. Priyanka is released only at the end, and she and Shiv bid their loved ones goodbye.

Day 101, 1:00 PM IST

Priyanka says that her brother had told her how some of the housemates had said that she sometimes acts friendly with Abdu just for footage.

Day 101, 1:45 PM IST

Bigg Boss freezes everyone and Stan’s mother Wahida arrives. She cries as soon as she sees Stan, and blesses Abdu as well. She goes around meeting everyone, and being emotional throughout it all. They have a long hug where she cries. She tells him that he is playing well and truthfully. She tries to give him strength and he breaks down in her arms.

Soon everyone else is released. Shalin and Archana apologise for the things they said.

Day 101, 2:15 PM IST

Archana’s brother is welcomed into the house, and Archana sobs and cries. Gulshan dances and laughs while she cries, and hugs her and mocks her. He teases her and says that he arrived instead of Archana’s mother. Bigg Boss starts to release everyone else but Archana, who does not stop country. Archana chases and shouts at Gulshan for not letting her mother come, before Bigg Boss says release. Gulshan is dragged away by Sajid, Shalin and Stan from not teasing Archana. Archana blames her brother for not letting her mother come, and the siblings soon enter into an argument.

Day 101, 2:30 PM IST

Archana and her brother argue a lot, providing a source of entertainment for the rest of the housemates. Nimrit’s father arrives next.

Day 101, 3:00 PM IST

Nimrit’s father jokingly criticises Archana for the state of the kitchen. Stan’s mother talks to Stan about Archana’s argument, which hurt Stan’s mother.

Day 101, 3:15 PM IST

Nimrit’s father advises Nimrit on how to play the game. Gulshan has fun with Shalin and Shiv, dancing and singing with them.

Day 101, 14:45 PM IST

Bigg Boss says that the limelight is stolen by Archana’s brother. For the captaincy task, the garden is turned into a chicken farm, each round starting when the sound of a chicken starts. The housemates are asked to fill trays with bird feed.

Day 101, 5:30 PM IST

Shiv wins the first round, and eliminates Soundarya and Tina.
