Bigg Boss 16 January 16, 2023 Highlights: Nimrit becomes captain again; Tina, Shalin, Soundarya and Sumbul nominated for evictions

Archana talks about kitchen duties. Meanwhile, Sumbul says she will thali bajao at mid-night. Soundarya and Priyanka have an argument soon. Soundarya drags Ankit Gupta and Priyanka accuses Soundarya of copying her.

Shiv and Archana have an argument too. Nimrit comes to Shiv's defense.

Shalin and Tina have a conversation. She talks about threat and gets loud while discussing the same. Priyanka gets dragged in the conversation again. Tina walks out again. Shalin then apologizes to Priyanka. She asks Tina to stay calm like Shalin and scream in front of someone else. That is when Shalin makes a re-entry.

Stan says he wants trophy now. Archana deciphers Tina-Shalin-Priyanka bond with Nimrit. The mandali soon does dinner outside the tunnel. Nimrit then says they miss Sajid Khan and Abdu Rozik.

The nominations task is here. A crocodile is here and Archana says daldal se darr nahi lagta, Salman Khan sir se lagta hai. Sumbul Touqeer Khan goes first and nominates Tina. Archana is on a roll as she says, "Sumbul aap sangharsh karo, hum tumhaare saath hai." Sumbul then picks Shalin. Soundarya nominates Tina and they call each other jealous. Soundarya also nominates Shalin, leading to a fight between Tina and Shalin again. Priyanka asks Shalin to blame Soundarya over Tina. Nimrit picks Shalin and Tina too. Priyanka, Tina, Shalin pick Soundarya and Sumbul. Stan, Shiv pick Soundarya and Archana. Archana picks Shiv and Stan. Tina, Shalin, Soundarya and Sumbul are most nominated this week.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia assigns duties to the housemates. Shiv Thakare takes Shalin Bhanot's duty and they have a sarcastic moment. Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary takes Shalin away from them and tries to give it back to the mandali or what is left of it. Tina Datta refuses to switch seats because Priyanka brings Shalin and talks to him in her presence. Priyanka then makes Tina understand.

Nimrit tells Shiv and MC Stan that Shalin and Tina will go back to normal and the boys joke that ego can stay aside. Soon, Priyanka and Tina have an argument and walk out. Nimrit jokes she will go talk to Tina and Shiv tells her to look at Shalin. Priyanka discusses her matter with Tina to Shalin.

Priyanka then jokes with Archana Gautam and they also get sarcastic. Nimrit does check up on Tina. Shalin then goes to ask Tina to join Priyanka and him. Soundarya Sharma asks Archana to look at them. Shalin spoke to Tina about Priyanka and when he tells Priyanka the same, Priyanka gets furious.

Shiv and Stan joke about Archana's clothes. Shiv then does the same with Soundarya. Priyanka then talks to Tina, who says she feels bad. Priyanka then calls out Shalin to Tina.

A new episode on Bigg Boss 16 commences with Maahim ignoring Archana Gautam. Maahim runs around and Shiv Thakare then talks to her about her past affairs. Shiv then jokes that Maahim has friendzoned Shalin Bhanot.

Shiv and MC Stan joke about Shalin with Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. The top nine are here in form of the current contestants.

Bigg Boss has a surprise. It is the captaincy task with Ticket To Finale week. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia is the captain of the show. Shiv Thakare's captaincy ends. The housemates have to steal Nimrit's captaincy. With that, the smoking area is open again.

Tina Datta then discusses with Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary that they have to break rules. Shalin Bhanot then comes and tells Priyanka that they need to convince Archana. Tina gives suggestions too.
