Bigg Boss 16 November 14, 2022 Highlights: Sajid Khan becomes the new captain of the house with unanimous votes

The rules change. Sajid can pick two contestants of his choice who will be safe and won't work at all.

Room of four and room of six members have to do all the work of the house and will be constantly nominated.

Sajid picks Abdu for room of two with Shiv. Sumbul, Nimrit and Stan are in room of three. Shalin and Tina are in room of four. Gautam, Soundarya, Priyanka, Ankit and Archana are in room of six.

Tina gets upset with Sajid for 'flipping.' She even goes to discuss the same with Nimrit. Tina asks Nimrit why should she and Shalin stay loyal. Shalin, on the other hand, hugs Sumbul and says he's happy for her.

Shalin and Tina have an argument over Sumbul again. Tina walks out and Sajid is getting upset too. Tina then asks about Sumbul's loyalty with Sajid and Nimrit.

Sumbul goes and gives Tina a hug and kiss. Shalin then tells Tina that Sajid has a different googly. Tina says she could never trust Sajid from day one. She then promises to flip too. The episode ends on that note.

MC Stan and Abdu discuss who they want out of the race. Sajid takes Abdu and Stan. The group goes to Archana, Gautam and Priyanka. The latter is pissed. Sajid then goes to Shiv.

Stan and Abdu get Shalin, Sumbul and Tina out of the captaincy race. Tina then questions Stan who ignores the question.

Sajid takes Ankit and Shiv for the task. They pick Stan, Nimrit and Shiv to be out of the captaincy race. Thanks to that, Sajid is the new captain.

Archana calls out Sajid for his game. He defends himself. Soundarya is then seen sitting on Gautam's lap again. The housemates get pissed and Archana demands that Bigg Boss bring an MP for her in the house.

The task is statue. Sajid Khan takes Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia and Shalin Bhanot to the activity room. The two have to remove names from captaincy. Nimrit picks Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, Soundarya Sharma and Gautam Singh Vig.

Nimrit tells Sajid that Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Tina Datta. He does so. They take Ankit Gupta, Archana Gautam and Abdu Rozik out of the captaincy race.

Ankit is seen telling Sajid that he took his team, who got the other team out. Meanwhile, Abdu is upset with Tina about getting him out of the race.

Bigg Boss promises change and calls contestants to the living area. Shalin is called out for not being there when Bigg Boss called him. He then comes in the towel as he was taking a bath when Bigg Boss made the announcement. Bigg Boss wants to talk to Shalin first. He then hints at Archana and says he will give Shalin an opportunity to be captain. For the uninitiated, Shalin could not be captain till date.

The captaincy task is here. Bigg Boss talks about the two groups and how the groups complain about not getting a chance. Sajid Khan is the tour guide in the captaincy task. The tourists can remove three contestants from the captaincy race, including Sajid himself.

Tina tells Shiv and Nimrit that Sajid will save Ankit. Nimrit pleads to take Ankit last. Sajid agrees. Priyanka feels Sajid will be captain.

Tina, Nimrit and Shalin discuss the task. Tina and Shalin go to Sajid too. They promise he will be the captain. Shiv discusses the task with Sajid, who smokes in the open. Archana also feels Sajid will be the captain.

Sajid jokes with Ankit that he would give people pool tour. Nimrit and Shiv talk about Ankit and how he will always pick Priyanka, even over Sajid.

Soundarya taunts Nimrit and the latter asks her to stop. Sumbul Touqeer Khan comes in support of Nimrit. Nimrit drags Gautam and the 'shut up' game starts. Gautam asks Soundarya to stop. Shalin, observing from afar, cannot help but laugh at the sitaution. Shiv, on the other hand, tries to calm Soundarya and Gautam.

Gautam gets pissed while recalling the situation to Ankit Gupta. Soundarya goes to Priyanka who supports her.

Shalin calls Priyanka 'baby' and she gets pissed. Ankit tries to stop both. Priyanka then tells Ankit not to stop her.

Gautam and Soundarya finally talk about the situation. Nimrit asks Abdu to say he's her best friend.

Day 44 commences with MC Stan taking a walk even before the alarm goes off. Shiv Thakare, Tina Datta, Abdu Rozik, Archana Gautam and Shalin Bhanot groove to the Bigg Boss anthem.

Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary has an argument with Archana Gautam when she refuses to distribute sugar. Archana asks Priyanka to talk to Shalin. Archana promises to get back at Tina.

Shalin, Shiv and Tina lay on the grass and make fun of the incident. That is when Archana comes to talk to Tina. Shiv makes fun of it again and challenges Priyanka. Shalin comes to talk to Priyanka and there's a lot of sarcasm involved.

Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia gets involved to argue with Priyanka. Shiv then says they will make paratha and feed Ankit. Soundarya then argues with Archana about Shalin. He gets involved. Archana laughs at the incident again. Shalin goes sarcastic again as Priyanka, Soundarya and Gautam fight with him.
