Bigg Boss 16 November 23, 2022 LIVE Highlights: Archana angers and hurts Sajid; latter yells and breaks down

Day 53 in the Bigg Boss 16 house was riddled with drama. The strength of friendships were tested, as Ankit and Priyanka found themselves at odds yet again, while Soundarya and Archana’s friendship was put through the wringer as well. The episode also saw pandemonium break out during the ration task, when Sajid and Archana got involved in a huge argument, which led Sajid to tears.

Here’s all that happened:

Day 53, 9:0 AM IST

Sajid says Archana has no support at all, let alone from the public. He advices Sumbul to give a proper answer when Archana says something. He advises Sumbul to hit Archana, as its proven that even people who beat others will not leave the house. Sumbul says that she tries to remain calm.

Day 53, 10:30 AM IST

Ankit brings Priyanka coffee, and the latter says that it is the first time he’s doing something like that. Soundarya asks Archana to bring some almond milk, which latter refuses. Soundarya says that she used to bring Archana dairy whenever she asked, and will refuse when Archana asks next time.

When Priyanka says that Ankit had brought her coffee for the first time, Ankit tells Archana that Priyanka is always right and its no use arguing with her. An argument soon breaks out when Priyanka is irked by Ankit’s comments.

Day 53, 11:00 AM IST

Priyanka and Ankit discuss what happened in the morning. Ankit says that it was a joke, and Priyanka says she was hurt by it.

Day 53, 11:15 AM IST

Tina, Soundarya and Nimrit are working in the kitchen and cooking. Archana comes and starts a fight with them and leaves.

Day 53, 11:30 AM IST

Abdu sings to the tune of Stan’s beatboxing. Abdu has fun with everyone, chasing around Sajid and getting a pinch on the cheeks from Nimrit.

Day 53, 12:15 AM IST

Priyanka says she never makes fun of Ankit with anyone. Ankit says she laughs at Archana's jokes about him. Priyanka says she always stands up for Ankit, and he says he never asked her to do it. Priyanka is left in tears, and says she always thought about Ankit first. Priyanka becomes emotional talking about their friendship and dynamic. She declares that he proved that she is nothing to him, and storms off.

Day 53, 1:00 PM IST

Archana complains about the cleaning job Stan did, and Shiv advises her to stay out of it. Archana refuses to let it go. Shiv jokes how great Archana is.

Day 53, 3:45 PM IST

Bigg Boss gives a fun ration task to the housemates. The supreme announces that a market has been set up, and Shiv is tasked with driving a truck and dropping housemates off to the market. He is the one who decides how much time the housemates get to shop, and how much they can shop. When Shiv blows the horn, they must stop shopping. All the ration thats left after everyone is done shopping will go to Shiv.

Pandemonium breaks out after Shiv blows the horn. Archana is happy with her turn, while Soundarya, Nimrit and Tina are not.

Day 53, 4:15 PM IST

Sajid becomes furious with Archana for dragging his father’s name into an argument. He yells at Archana to get out of the truck. He is consoled by everyone else, while Archana pretends to be hurt. Sajid continues to yell, while Archana continues to provoke him calling him a good director in the industry. Sajid says Archana is taking advantage of being a woman and should be thrown out. Sajid is held back a number of times from going after Archana. Archana also stars to yell, and is held back by Soundarya.

Tina says Archana is a psycho. Priyanka and Soundarya starts to reason with Archana, saying that Sajid had said ‘Kisi ka baap’, and did not target her specifically. Sajid says that Archana is a pain in the neck, and that Bigg Boss should take a call.

Day 53, 4:30 PM IST

Soundarya tells Sajid that she thought Archana was in the wrong. Priyanka asks Archana to say sorry, while the latter says that she did not do anything wrong. Sajid is called into the medical room by Bigg Boss to check his BP.

Day 53, 4:45 PM IST

Archana talks about how she would not hesitate to rip Sajid apart, and Priyanka is shocked by her words.

Day 53, 5:00 PM IST

Most of the housemates rally around Sajid, talking about how Archana aimed to provoke people. Priyanka advises Archana to never ever talk about another person’s parents. Sajid talks about how Archana had also tried to make Stan and Shalin’s argument worse.

Day 53, 5:15 PM IST

Shiv is told to take away all te left over ration. Sajid says that Bigg Boss is empowering Archana and the latter has destroyed the atmosphere and energy of the house.

Day 53, 5:30 PM IST

Archana starts to argue with Soundarya, and Priyanka angrily kicks the former out of the room. Archana tells Bigg Boss that she is hurt by Soundarya, and doubts if the latter is Archana’s friend or not.

Sajid says that he will not eat anything until Bigg Boss takes a decision about Archana. Soundarya yells at Archana for trying to drum up an argument over ginger.

Day 53, 6:15 PM IST

Ankit tries to get Priyanka to eat something and the two soon make up. Nimrit talks about the identity crisis Soundarya is having. The latter talks about her argument with Archana. Ankit, Priyanka and Soundarya discuss the situation.

Day 53, 6:30 PM IST

Sajid tears up and is comforted by Stan, Shiv and Abdu. He talks about his tragic part, and the trauma of losing his father and the regret he felt for not being able to save him. Sajid asks for even the shortest of a meeting with Bigg Boss. He says Archana should be punished.

Day 53, 7:45 PM IST

Soundarya says that she was joking, and asks why Archana took everything seriously. The two make up when Soundarya says sorry.

Day 53, 9:00 PM IST

Sajid is still not called to the confession room by Bigg Boss. Soundarya says that Archana was in the wrong, and Sajid tells Soundarya to tell Archana not to play the ‘Amir, gharib’ card.

Day 53, 9:15 PM IST

Shiv and Nimrit are asked about the situation. They tell Bigg Boss that Sajid had joked about how the show is not run by anyone’s father, and Archana had mistakenly assumed it to be about her and retaliated. Bigg Boss asks Shiv if he had also taken Archana’s parents name in an argument, to which he said yes. Bigg Boss says that Sajid’s protest of not eating food is not right. Shiv and Nimrit agree to reason with Sajid, and the captain requests Bigg Boss to consider talking to Sajid. Bigg Boss refuses.

Day 53, 9:30 PM IST

Shiv and Nimrit try to reason with Sajid, and asks him not to play with his health and to eat something. Sajid agrees to eat.

Day 53, 9:45 PM IST

Sajid apologises to Bigg Boss for his behaviour.

Day 53, 11:00 AM IST

Everyone celebrates Sajid’s birthday. By dancing around and writing Happy Birthday in toilet paper.

Soundarya tries to mediate Ankit and Priyanka’s argument. Priyanka sobs and breaks down and sleeps outside of the room.

Day 53, 12:45 PM IST

Ankit calls Priyanka back into the room, and carries her into the room when she refuses. Priyanka laughs at his gesture. He tucks her in and then carries her to his bed. The two talk it out, and Priyanka again takes offence to Ankit’s ‘joke’. Even Soundarya tells Ankit that she found his joke in poor taste.
