Bigg Boss 16 October 21, 2022 written update: Archana becomes new captain as punishment, Nimrit, Manya, Shiv, Abdu makes her life difficult

Shiv Thakre is the new house captain on Bigg Boss 16. The previous day, amid the ongoing daily routine, Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary takes a dig at the new captain, while the former captain supports her. 

Suddenly at around 4.30 in the morning, Archana starts beating up a thali in the house out of nowhere. The new captain warns her to stop it, while Shalin Bhanot stops her and Priyanka from taking things forward.

To take revenge Archana continues sleeping even during the day, which is not allowed in the Bigg Boss house. Shiv gets irritated and tells Bigg Boss about the actual issue, while after that Archana talks to him.

Abdu gets pissed with the kukudakoo. Priyanka then asks Shiv to sort the duties out. MC Stan gets pissed and sleeps in protest.

Abdu makes a 'Go Shalin' song and also a hook dance step if the Naagin actor gets evicted. For a while, Shalin and Tina also join the little singer and jam with him.

Later, after Archana, Shiv loses his calm over Priyanka too because of her duties. Abdu gossips with Sajid and tells him that Tina and Nimrit are going strong.

Bigg Boss questions Shiv about what happened. He explains how both of them are completely ignoring his commands and retaliating whenever getting the opportunity. While Archana slept throughout the day, Priyanka not only slept but also avoided her chores as well. After this, the new captain gets the opportunity to punish both girls. He puts Priyanka in a small dark box with small holes, while Archana gets to go inside the prison.

After a while, Shiv changes the punishment areas. Priyanka gets jail while Soundarya and Archana get their respective boxes.

However, after a lot of hassle Shiv doesn't get everyone to follow his command, so gets out of the captaincy race. Meanwhile, Archana is anticipated to get punished for her doings but in Bigg Boss style. And due to this, she becomes the next captain of the house. With that, she will now have to tackle all the obstacles and make make everyone listen to her command but it seems next to impossible.

In retaliation, Nimrit starts talking in English. Others say they will do thali bajao. Shiv plans dange with Nimrit and group.

Nimrit and Manya steal food from under Archana's nose. Shiv goes next to steal food. He takes the basket from one room to another. Stan and Gautam also steal. So do Nimrit and Abdu.
