Bigg Boss 17 – Abhishek Kumar remembers the moment he decided to stay true friends with Munawar Faruqui

Abhishek Kumar and Munawar Faruqui are one of the most loved friends on Bigg Boss 17. Their friendship was very organic and has seen their own share of ups and downs. While talking to the media on the show recently, Abhishek recalled the moment when he decided to stay a true friend to Munawar.

What was the moment?

Abhishek spoke about the moment when he decided that he wants to stay a loyal friend to Munawar. That was the moment when Munawar stood by Abhishek right after Samarth Jurel came on the show as Isha Malviya’s boyfriend. Abhishek is Isha’s ex and he was not able to move on from her from the time when the show began, to the point where Samarth and Isha became officially a couple on the show. When he got his closure, Abhishek tried to move on. On Samarth’s entry, Abhishek cried uncontrollably. That is when Munawar approached Abhishek and explained to him how Isha doesn’t deserve him. It was in that moment, where Munawar stood by him, that Abhishek felt he will stand by him no matter what.

The most recent moment

Munawar and Abhishek recently bonded over and with Mannara Chopra. It started with them calling her very wrong before Isha’s exit to Mannara bonding with Munawar and Abhishek after Isha’s exit. Abhishek and Mannara discussed seeing Isha in top five. All the three are now in top six.

Abhishek stood by Munawar in Ayesha Khan matter

Munawar found his lowest moments when Ayesha Khan entered the house and accused him of two-timing her with Nazila Sitaishi. Till that moment, Munawar pretended to be in a relationship with Nazila. On Ayesha’s entry, he revealed that the two had parted ways four months back. This took the housemates, who considered him a friend, aback. They started doubting if Munawar was lying about anything else and most did not feel like interacting with him, also because Munawar spent most of his time with Ayesha. Despite that, Abhishek found a way to stay friends with both Munawar and Ayesha. In fact, Munawar’s sister also told her brother that Abhishek is his one true friend in the house.
