Bigg Boss 17 Grand Finale, Day 106 Written Update, 28th Jan: Munawar Faruqui competes with Abhishek Kumar, emerges winner of Salman Khan's show

It was the last day of Bigg Boss 17 and the show ended on an emotional note. Salman Khan announced Munawar Faruqui as the winner after a long journey into top two. Abhishek Kumar came as the first runner-up and Mannara Chopra, the second runner-up. Know everything that happened on the show…

Co-hosts with Salman Khan

Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbichiyaa, Krushna Abhishek, Sudesh Lehri, Orry and Abdu Rozik co-host Bigg Boss 17 with Salman Khan at the grand finale. The day begins with the anthem of the show, as the top five finalists enter and meet the ex-contestants including Soniya Bansal, Tehelka aka Sunny Arya, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Samarth Jurel, Isha Malviya, Vicky Jain, Sana Raees Khan, Rinku Dhawan, Jigna Vora, Manasvi Mamgai, Navid Sole and Ayesha Khan. Ankita warns Vicky that he will be sad, since she is getting out soon and he partied outside. The war between Neil and Vicky continues as Vicky tells Krushna and Bharti that Vicky cannot learn how to handle a relationship from him.

New task

Aishwarya is Ankita’s mann, Tehelka is Abhishek’s, Samarth is Munawar’s, Vicky is Arun’s and Isha is Mannara’s. Aishwarya and Isha nail the act.

Munawar-Samarth’s stand-up face-off

During their stand-up act, Samarth accuses Munawar of promising a music video but forgetting it in the real world. Munawar gives it back by calling Samarth spotboy. Samarth jokes about Munna 5G phone coming out soon. Munawar talks about Abhishek soon after. Samarth compares Munawar to Sonu Sood and Munawar talks about Samarth finding it difficult to walk in Isha’s shoes and thus, he wore Mannara’s heels. Samarth tells Munawar he took ‘Mannara feels’ and Munawar gives it back with ‘dheel koi aur de raha tha.’ Samarth says Munawar could not hide himself after Ayesha’s entry. Samarth mimics Ayesha through the act.

Awards

Ankita, Aishwarya, Mannara and Isha get ‘main chup nahi rahungi’ award. Best jodi award goes to Arun-Tehelka. Samarth gets ‘Kisi Ke Haath Na Aayega Yeh Ladka’ award. Munawar’s ‘Tunnel Tak Chodh Ke Aaunga’ dialogue is awarded. Abhishek gets dum award from Tehelka.

Fashion show with Orry

Orry would rank contestants with emojis. Vicky goes first with Sana and Ayesha. Orry liked Sana’s performance but wanted more of her. Navid goes with Manasvi and Soniya. Orry liked the girls. Neil goes with Aishwarya and Rinku. Jigna and Tehelka go together. Isha and Samarth are last, dancing on Kurta Phaad Ke. Orry calls Isha like a bunny and he loved how Chintu outshined her. Ankita, Neil and Chintu get a selfie with Orry.

Who you won’t party with?

Abhishek won’t party with Samarth, Munawar won’t with Samarth, Ankita won’t party with Neil and Aishwarya, Mannara won’t party with Soniya Bansal and Arun won’t party with Abhishek.

Isha-Samarth, the kambal artist

Bharti and Krushna call Isha and Samarth the ‘kambal artist.’ The latter then accuses Isha of getting involved in any and every matter. Bharti then calls Krushna male Jigna. Krushna praises Rinku and sings ‘Rinku jiya’ for her. Rinku and Jigna go for a dance on Rafta Rafta Dekho. Soon there’s a dance-off between Sana and Ayesha on Kajra Re.

What will the contestants do?

Bharti feels Munawar will delete social media, while Haarsh says he would drive an auto in order to leave people till the tunnel. The latter feels Abhishek will open pest control agency to remove keede of people. Mannnara gets gud gobar sponsporship for breaking friendships. Isha gets soap sponsorship for slipping in relationships. Vicky gets diya sponsorship because he has taken everything. Arun gets facewash while Munawar gets atta sponsorship because he has been pisaod. Neil gets agarbatti sponsorship for worshipping Bigg Boss. Ankita gets noodle sponsorship for going back to Vicky in two minutes. Jigna and Rinku get sports shoes for running away from problems. Abhishek gets cooker because ‘uski dal nahi gali.’

Scene with Vicky-Mannara-Bharti

Mannara plays Vicky’s wife and Bharti his mother for a skit. Haarsh praises the same. Next is Abhishek and Chintu’s pole dance. Abdu later proposes to Ayesha but from afar. He friendzones Mannara. Abdu confesses he has a crush on Isha and asks for a dance on Tujhe Dekha Toh. Vicky-Ankita go for a romantic dance on Tum Kya Mile.

Burger time

Aishwarya adds sharam cheese, khadoos kheera, kadva karela, mean mayo, chaatu chutney and dogla dhaniya for Ankita. Ayesha picks boring baigan patty, cheese, mayo, chutney and dhaniya for Munawar. Isha picks mayo, tacky tomato, teekhi sauce, pagglait pyaas, chugalkhor cabbage, patty and chutney for Mannara. Vicky picks patty, sauce, cheese, cabbage for Arun.

Next task

Neil feels Ankita doesn’t deserve the finale. Isha picks Abhishek, Sana picks Arun and Rinku picks Mannara.

Families in the house

Ahead of the announcement, Munawar, Mannara, Arun, Abhishek and Ankita’s family members enter the house to bless them. Abhishek meets Munawar’s sister as well. Salman then has a banter with Vicky’s mother too.

Mannara upset with Bigg Boss 17?

Soon, Salman joked about Anurag Dobhal and how he has posted things against Bigg Boss 17. He then blamed Mannara for being upset with the makers. Abhishek calls himself single and Salman asks him why he’s desperate for love, when he has learned that a relationship is not needed in life.

Isha-Samarth dance to You Are My Soniya. Neil-Aishwarya groove to Bole Chudiyan. Ankita-Vicky dance to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Madhuri Dixit, Suniel Shetty in the house

After having fun with Vicky’s mother, Salman introduces the first eviction. ‘Shaitaan’ Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan are in the house for the same. Mannara wants Ankita out but instead, Arun is out of the winner race. Soon after, Madhuri Dixit enters the show, followed by Suniel Shetty. Sana dances on Dhak Dhak in front of Madhuri. Krushna jokes with Madhuri about working on her films as a side hero.

Time for top three

It was time for top three but before that, there was a performance between Arun Mahashetty and Tehelka. Their fun act involves Abhishek Kumar as the enemy and Ankita-Mannara as doing useless talks. Arun talks about Munawar getting low with one wild card entry (referring to Ayesha). Mannara is safe and in top three. So are Munawar and Abhishek. Ankita got evicted after coming so far. Soon after, MunAra gave a performance and Abhishek joined Munawar.

Top 2 and winner

It is time for top two. After teasing Abhishek, Salman names Mannara as evicted. She is the second runner-up of the show. Salman then teases Abhishek and Munawar and later announces Mannara as evicted. This is followed by Mannara vs Ankita’s performance. Salman does not take much time in announcing the winner soon after. Munawar picks up the trophy and receives the cheque of Rs. 50 lakhs along with the car, Hyundai Creta.
