The recently held nomination task on Bigg Boss Season 17 was full of controversies. At first, contestants on the show formed two groups, with Team A consisting of Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar and Arun Mahashetty and Team B consisting of Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Isha Malviya and Ayesha Khan. In the task, Team A was expected to hold the buzzer button for about two hours, while Team B was expected to make use of household items to compel Team A to leave the buzzer before completion of 2 hours. The task, however, ended on an ugly note. Here is what happened.

During the task, we saw Munawar shouting and screaming in pain after Vicky, Ayesha, and Isha applied mirchi powder and paste on his hands, face, and neck area. Munawar was in deep pain. Team B even splashed a bucket of mirchi powder water on him to force him to leave the task. Munawar later gave up after his task partner Mannara Chopra accidentally yet painfully left the buzzer.
A day later, Team B and A were expected to swap roles, with Team B holding the buzzer while Team A making use of household items. However, just before the beginning of the second round of the task, Vicky Jain hid a bunch of buckets on the rooftop of the Bigg Boss house – which seemed impossible to climb. Vicky took advantage of his height and placed the buckets in a manner which could not be accessed easily. Determining to win the task, Munawar climbed up a tree to fetch the buckets (which can be used to splash water).
However, Vicky caught Munawar climbing up a tree and tried to displace him with a broomstick. Abhishek and Ayesha understood the magnitude of the problem and tried to douse of the tension and their attempt went in vain. Vicky’s efforts were successful and Munawar was compelled to jump off the tree. This development has sparked safety concerns on the show.

Despite the tree incident, Ankita dismissed Munawar as her friend, while Isha Malviya continued to speak ill about Munawar on the show. Vicky Jain, too, engaged in a physical fight with Munawar on the show. Only time will tell whether any actions will be taken on these problematic developments.
