Bobby Deol shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal. In an interview, the actor heaped praise on his co-actor and called him a 'superstar'.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal is currently the talk of the town. The film is one of the highest-grossing movies of the year. It featured Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role while Bobby Deol was the main antagonist. In the film, Ranbir locks horns with Bobby. However, in real life, they share a very good bond. Their camaraderie was seen at the promotional events of the movie.
Now, in an interview, Bobby has heaped praise on his co-star Ranbir. The actor called him a 'superstar' and said Kapoor doesn't have insecurities.

Speaking with News18, Bobby Deol mentioned he has worked with a lot of actors but Ranbir Kapoor gave him a lot of respect. Expressing his fondness for him as an actor, Deol added, "He’s a superstar, and despite that, he dragged me with him everywhere he went to promote the film. No one does that."
The Animal actor added that everyone wants to steal the limelight but Ranbir isn't like that. In his opinion, Kapoor has no 'insecurities'.

Meanwhile, Ranbir and Bobby's movie Animal has taken the box office by storm. The film has set the cash register ringing. Within five days of its theatrical run, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has earned approximately ₹283.74 crore at the domestic box office. With that, it has shattered Kabir Singh's record. The lifetime collection of Shahid Kapoor's movie is ₹278.24 crore.
On the other hand, Animal also shattered Brahmastra's record. It surpassed the lifetime collection of the film, which was directed by Ayan Mukerji.

Besides Ranbir and Bobby, Animal featured Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. Rashmika essayed the role of Geetanjali, Ranbir's love interest in the film. On the other hand, Anil played Kapoor's father, Balbir Singh in the movie. The plot of Animal revolves around the complicated relationship of the father-son duo. It was more about how Ranbir aka Ranvijay would go to any extent to protect his father, Balbir.
