The shoot for Bobby Simhaa's next will begin on May 5

Actor Bobby Simhaa has signed his next in Tamil titled Thadai Udai. The shoot for the film, which is billed to be an action thriller, began with a puja ceremony on Sunday. The event was attended by lyricist Vairamuthu and distributor Shibu Thameens along with the film's star cast, including the director, debutant NS Rakesh. Pictures from the puja ceremony have been doing the rounds on the internet.
Misha Narang plays the leading lady of the film. The rest of the star cast includes Prabhu, Senthil, Rohini, Sarath Ravi and Deepak Paramesh. While Damel Xavier Edwards will be handling the cinematography of the film, music will be scored by Athif. Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics for the songs and stunts have been choreographed by Ganesh.
Lyricist Vairamuthu had announced on his social media handle that he was the one who gave the title for the film and kickstarted the work on it with a puja ceremony. He said that he garlanded the entire cast, crew and technicians and that life is all about these small celebrations.
Bobby Simhaa was last seen in Karthik Subbaraj's Mahaan starring Vikram. He played the character Sathyavan Soosaiyappan in it and shared screen space along with a host of actors including Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, Simran, Sanath, Deepak Paramesh, Vettai Muthukumar and Aadukalam Naren. The film's music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan. Cinematography was handled by Shreyas Krishna and editing was by Vivek Harshan.
Bobby was also seen in the Miracle segment of the anthology series Putham Puthu Kaalai, which was well appreciated by the audience. The portion was yet again directed by Karthik Subbaraj and had cinematography by Shreyas Krishna. Bobby is someone who makes a regular appearance in Karthik Subbaraj's films. Some of his popular works with the director include Pizza, Jigarthanda and Iraivi.
