It was expected that Hombale Films, the producers of the magnum opus KGF saga, were pulling out all stops to make the release of the second and final chapter a mega event. And they are starting with the trailer launch on Sunday, March 27, which will be hosted by popular Bollywood director/producer and TV host Karan Johar. As was the case with the first instalment, Hombale Films will bring in media from across the country to Bengaluru, the witness the launch of the trailer in all five languages. The cast of the film, including Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj and Raveena Tandon, among many others, as well as director Prashant Neel, cinematographer Bhuvan Gowda and music director Ravi Basrur are expected to be at the do.

Century Star Shivarajkumar will also grace the event. 

Back in 2018, Hombale Films and Yash had gone all out to introduce themselves and the film to the entire country, with massive announcements about the associations they’ve struck to distribute KGF: Chapter 1 effectively in all the target markets. The film was picked up for the North-Indian markets by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment and AA Films, an association that continues with the second edition as well. Hombale Films have also announced a collaboration with Mollywood star Prithviraj for the Malayalam market, and he’s expected to be at the event on Sunday. Industry insiders expect many more exciting announcements as part of the trailer launch event.

KGF: Chapter 2 is all set to release in theatres on April 14.
