On the occasion of Alia Bhatt's birthday, Ayan Mukerji finally unveiled the first look visuals of the actor from his upcoming directorial, Brahmastra. The 30-second long video features different glimpses of Alia, starting with her hugging Ranbir Kapoor's character Shiva. In the film, the Raazi actor plays the role of Isha, and it marks her first outing with RK on the big screen.

While sharing the first look video, Ayan wished Alia a happy birthday by stating, "Happy Birthday, Little One. For all the joy, the pride, the inspiration, and the magic that you make me feel... Here’s something to celebrate you on your special day. In the first visuals we are releasing from our movie, Isha, the Shakti of Brahmstra, is in the first visuals! Love, light, fire. Go! #happybirthdayalia #brahmastra."

Earlier, while talking about the video, a source told Pinkvilla that it's a special birthday video for Alia's Brahmastra character, Isha. In the film, the audience will get a glimpse into her world, and unlike the first motion poster, this one might even include some authentic Brahmastra visuals.

The source also added that Isha is an important character in Shiva's journey, and her story is much more than just a love story. For the time being, all of the details surrounding Isha have been kept under wraps, and will be revealed closer to her release.

The entertainment portal further reported that with a budget of Rs 350 crore, Brahmastra is expected to be the most expensive Bollywood film to date. Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Dimple Kapadia star in the film, which is produced by Karan Johar in collaboration with Disney. It's part of a trilogy, and the second instalment is set to premiere next year. Brahmastra Two's core plot and screenplay have been finalised, and the team will begin full-fledged production on the film after the first part is completed.

The first part of Brahmastra is slated for release on September 9, 2022.
