When making a blockbuster, what we see at the end is just the tip of the iceberg. Behind the scenes, there is a drama of planning, preparation, and outstanding performance. For a blockbuster film like Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, which has been in production for more than ten years, it took heroic efforts over the years to bring its ground-breaking cinematic extravaganza to the audience.

Behind-the-scenes videos from the Nu Boyana Film Studios in Bulgaria were released by Disney+ Hotstar. These videos give an overview of the enormous planning and production that went into creating the masterwork that Indian viewers fell in love with in 2022, Brahmstra Part One: Shiva.

The director of the movie, Ayan Mukerji, discusses the difficulties of filming the film's climactic finale in a brand-new BTS video from the set. He said that the movie's climax has proven to be the most difficult sequence. A 20-minute-long scene filled with action, special effects, and passion. There was so much happening that it almost felt like a movie for him.

While Ranbir Kapoor added that the climax is the high point of the movie and he doesn't believe he has ever done this kind of planning before.

Speaking more about the specifics of filming the sequence, Mukerji says that it was all blue since they were filming it against a blue background. Because an interior stage would be far better suited for the type of lighting that they needed to provide and the type of stunts that they needed to pull off. Bringing together all the various teams and filming this in Bulgaria made sense to them.

Alia Bhatt continued by saying that it's the first time she's starred in a film like this at all. It's the first time she started a film with the climax sequence.
