Brahmastra song Deva Deva teaser: Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva teases 'light is coming' in upcoming track

The second song from Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is soon to be out, much to the excitement of the fans. The song is mainly picturised on the lead actor, Ranbir Kapoor, and the teaser is out now. In the 54-second long video, the actor is heard talking about the Light, which is what protects people when faced with any darkness. He also says that it is that special power that brings meaning to our lives.

Alia Bhatt's character also asks him where he found this light, and then the song proceeds. We see Kapoor playing with the fire, and he is also joined by Amitabh Bachchan in the song. The teaser ends with fire taking the shape of a gigantic bird while RK goes horse-riding on the field.

Ayan Mukerji shared the song teaser on his Instagram page with a caption stating, "DEVA DEVA Teaser (And the rest of it - out on this coming Monday - the day of Lord Shiva) Deva Deva - was the first song to be composed for Brahmāstra, capturing right away the Soul of Shiva’s Journey in the movie! It has given me so much Energy and Joy over the time it has been with us… And I’m really looking forward to finally sharing the feeling of this Song with everyone - on August 8th! #devadeva #thelightiscoming #brahmastra."

Deva Deva, will be out on August 8, 2022.

Ayan Mukerji wrote and directed the fantasy adventure movie Brahmastra: Part One-Shiva. Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Ayan Mukerji (in his first production), it is released by Star Studios in cooperation with Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures, and Prime Focus. Amitabh Bachchan (Kapoor), Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni are among its cast members. As the first instalment of a trilogy that will make up the Astraverse, the movie is meant to serve that role.

Brahmastra is released on September 9, 2022.
