Kesariya is the first ever song dropped by the makers of Brahmastra. Soon after the release, the romantic track went viral and also become a part of some hilarious memes on the internet. Apart from major love and appreciation, it also came across a few controversies. Meanwhile, after two weeks of release, the soulful single has crossed the 100 Million views mark on YouTube.
The makers of the film shared the latest news with the fans in India and celebrated the 100 Million mark on Instagram with a special post that reads, "It’s a celebration of love! 100M hearts are beating to #Kesariya - making it a global hit & the ultimate love anthem of the year! #Brahmastra in cinemas September 9th. (sic)."

Crooned in the melodious voice of Arijit Singh, Kesariya is composed and written by Pritam and Amitabh Bhattacharya respectively.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Ayan Mukerji dropped a new video of the Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer explaining how the idea of this fantasy-drama movie came from. The director of Brahmastra revealed that the idea began in 2011 when he went to witness the beautiful mountains of Shimla and work on the script of his second film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani starring Ranbir opposite Deepika Padukone.
He further explained how the process took a decade and what issues and hurdles he faced in his journey to create the world of Brahmastra.
Apart from YouTube, the ace filmmaker shared the video on his official Instagram handle as well with a special poem that reads, "Chingariyan ye jo mere seene mein hain dafan… Inko zara deke hava ban jaoon main agan…” As we enter the last month, leading upto the release of our movie… here’s something that takes us back to the Beginnings of Brahmāstra! #brahmastra (sic)."

Also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni in important roles, the movie is slated to hit theatres around the country on September 9, 2022.
