Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo: Dev, Rukmini Maitra and Ambarish Bhattacharya impress fans

Dev and Rukmini Maitra’s Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo is all set to hit the theatre on August 11. The pre-teaser and teaser were dropped and Birsa Dasgupta’s film has already gained momentum among Bengali viewers. Ever since the teaser launch, fans have been eagerly waiting for the movie’s trailer. 

Dev has been introduced as the brand-new Byomkesh on the block. Rukmini will play Satyabati, while Ambarish Bhattacharya will be seen as Ajit. On Sunday, Dev shared a photo on social media announcing the arrival of the movie’s trailer. The actor captioned the post, ‘Bakshi and Co. The trailer is coming soon.’ Both Byomkesh and Ajit are seen in traditional Bengali attire – dhoti and kurta, while Satyabati is seen in a saree. 

Dev’s portrayal of Byomkesh is quite distinct from other versions, seemingly tailored for a modern audience. The shooting of most parts of the film has taken place in Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, and Jharkhand. A significant portion of the shooting was done at the beautiful Gadakunda Fort in Madhya Pradesh. The glimpses of their characters have already captivated the audience. Now, Dev has shared yet another photo, building up the anticipation for the movie even more.
