Captain Miller: This RRR actor joins the set of Dhanush and Arun Matheswaran's action flick

It looks like the Captain Miller team is getting bigger and bigger by the day. After the team announced that the Kannada Superstar Shiva Rajkumar was part of the film, the latest we hear is that Edward Sonnenblick, who was part of SS Rajamouli's RRR, has now joined the sets.

The film's production house, Sathya Jyothi Films, dropped the announcement, and wrote on their social media handle, "We welcome the talented " #RRR " fame American actor @trulyedward on board for #CaptainMiller @dhanushkraja @ArunMatheswaran @NimmaShivanna @sundeepkishan @gvprakash @priyankaamohan @highonkokken @nivedhithaa_Sat (sic)."

Edward Sonnenblick had played a government authority and an ally of the tyrannical Governor Scott Buxton in the Rajamouli film. He has also worked in films like Badmaash Company, Kapoor & Sons, Neerja, Manikarnika: The Queenof Jhansi and Veere Di Wedding. Captain Miller is his first Tamil film.

The star cast for the action entertainer includes Sundeep Kishan, John Kokken, Priyanka Mohan and Nivedhithaa Sathish. Dhanush had earlier stated at an event that Captain Miller was going to be a killer film. Arun Matheswaran, too, had revealed that the film was being made on a large scale and that it had a lot of action and adventure. He added that Captain Miller would be unlike his two previous ventures, Rocky and Saani Kaayidham.

A leaked video or a fight sequence had got the internet talking and many had dubbed Captain Miller, one of India's biggest films. The leaked video was later taken down by the film's team. They had also requested fans to not share any videos as a lot of efforts had gone into the making of the film.

While GV Prakash is scoring the music, Madhan Karky is penning the dialogues of the film. The shoot for the film is happening at a brisk space in the outskirts of Tenkasi and the film is likely to drop for Deepavali, if all goes as planned.
