What would you do to save the one you love? Randeep Hooda’s character Gurnaam in CAT chooses to go down a dark and twisted path to save his brother from the clutches of the Indian judicial system.

An intense, turban-clad Randeep Hooda can be seen picking up guns as a top police official tells him that one has to take matters into his own hands when the government fails to do its job. In the background, quite understandably, there’s chaos and commotion and bloodshed around those involved.

Amidst all that is happening in Randeep’s life, we see that the police make an offer to him to ‘get his life back’ by becoming an informer for them and extracting secret information from undisclosed individuals.

The teaser also breezes through multiple faces and scenes before it closes with the lead character firing bullets in an open space.

Gurnam is forced by the police to turn informant once more, like he did during the insurgency of the 1990s as CAT, but this time to snitch on the terrible drug mafia of Punjab, saving the life of his drug dealer brother and forcing him to confront his dark history.

The CAT writers revealed that the series is an engaging story of Gurnam, who returns to becoming a police informant to save his brother after showing a glimpse of their life at Tudum. This universe for CAT was created with a ton of effort and devotion. The actors did a great job of bringing the characters that they imagined to life, especially Randeep, who plays Gurnam.
