Daali Dhananjaya’s birthday is a very special occasion for all his many million fans. The actor’s rise to the top over the last couple of years has witnessed him amassing admirers from all corners which have led to him being fondly called the Nata Rakshasa of the Kannada Film Industry.

In this spirit, to mark his birthday and spread the cheer, fans have been treated to two new posters from his upcoming films Hoysala and Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda. Dhananjaya took to social media earlier today (August 23) to share the new posters with all his followers.

First came the Hoysala poster which presents the actor in a snazzy cop avatar. Riding a horse in the police uniform in swag, Dhananjaya seemed in his element in the poster and the comments too echoed the same sentiments.

Hoysala also comes as a milestone 25th project for Dhananjaya and the actor has striven hard to make it a grand one. The cop-based action thriller has been written and directed by Vijay N who has set the film’s world in the North Karnataka city of Belagavi. Amrutha Iyengar stars as the female lead with Yogi G Raj and Karthik Gowda of KRG Studios producing the project: this is Dhananjaya’s second collaboration with the producer-duo after Rathnan Prapancha. K.G.F: Chapter 2 actor B.S. Avinash, who played the character of Andrews in the franchise, will be starring as the antagonist in Hoysala.

The film was earlier slated to release in theatres on November 1 but the makers have now pushed it to a new date.

Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda, on the other hand, is a romantic thriller helmed by Kushal Gowda (of Kannadakkagi Ondannu Otti fame). The latest poster reveals yet another alluring look of Dhananjaya who sports curly hair and a rugged look in the film: Aditi Prabhudeva stars as the female lead in the film set in a fictional place called Jamaligudda.

The cast of Once Upon a Time in Jamaligudda also includes Prakash Belavadi, Yash Shetty, Bhavana Ramanna, and others. The film was earlier slated to come out in theatres on September 9 but this currently stands as a tentative schedule.
