Celebrity Cricket League 2025: CCL 2025 Surat schedule – Bhojpuri Dabanggs and Chennai Rhinos up for last chance to make it to semis; Punjab De Sher to face tournament leaders, Karnataka Bulldozers

It’s Week 3 of the Celebrity Cricket League 2025 and time for the final round of group stage matches. Over February 22 and 23, all 7 participating teams – Karnataka Bulldozers, Bengal Tigers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Telugu Warriors, Chennai Rhinos, Punjab De Sher and Mumbai Heroes – will be in Surat. The Bulldozers and Tigers have already booked semi-final slots, having won all 3 of their group stage matches so far, leaving only 2 more up for grabs. The top 4 teams make it to the semis on March 1 in Mysuru.
CCL 2025 match schedule of February 22 in Surat
It’s a do-or-die match for the Bhojpuri Dabanggs and the Chennai Rhinos when they take the field in the first match of Week 3 of CCK 2025 at the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat. Both the Dabanggs and the Rhinos have only 1 win each to their credit, after 3 matches and will not only need a massive win to keep their hopes alive in the tournament, but also a result that will make significant changes to their net-run rate. The Dabanggs are currently in third place on the points table, while the Rhinos are in 5th. The match will begin at 2 pm.
The second match of the day has the Karnataka Bulldozers against Punjab De Sher. The Bulldozers have been indomitable in the tournament so far, and will look at continuing that streak as they head into the semi-finals. Harrdy Sandhu’s Punjab De Sher, meanwhile, is currently at number 4 as per net run-rate and has two matches pending, including this one against the Bulldozers.
The Karnataka side has had high total matches, and even a loss with a small margin would be enough to keep the Shers’ run-rate above the rest. They then have another match on February 23 to ensure they remain in the top 4. Punjab De Sher has never before made it past the group stage, while the Bulldozers have played 7 of the last 10 finals, winning the tournament twice. Expected start time of the match is 6.30 pm, but 7.30 pm is more realistic.
