Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 1: After much anticipation and heightened curiosity among fans, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava has finally hit the big screen, and audiences are thoroughly enjoying it—at least if the day-one numbers are any indication. The film was highly anticipated, as reflected in its strong advance bookings, particularly in Maharashtra, given its subject matter revolving around one of the most revered kings in Maratha history. Now that the movie has been released, the first-day box office numbers confirm that it has performed exceptionally well, even surpassing Gully Boy in opening-day collections.

Chhaava Box Office Update

A rather unexpected choice for a Valentine's Day release, Chhaava premiered on February 14, 2025. However, the film strategically aligns with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on February 19, adding another layer of significance to its release. Given the high expectations surrounding it, many were curious to see if Chhaava would outdo the opening-day collection of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt's Gully Boy, which previously held the record for the biggest Valentine's Day opener.

We can now confirm that Chhaava has surpassed Gully Boy’s ₹19.50 crore opening day collection by a significant margin. According to Sacnilk, the film has earned ₹31 crore net on its first day, marking a roaring start—one that is crucial for a big-budget historical epic like this. If the current trend continues, Chhaava is likely to maintain its momentum over the weekend. However, the real challenge begins on Monday, when weekday footfalls will determine its long-term success.
