In the past 10 days, Chhaava has delivered exceptional numbers. As it completed its 10th day in theatres, the movie officially began its ascent towards the ₹400 crore mark. Chhaava Box Office Trends

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Pictures, Chhaava is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, who ruled from 1681 to 1689. The movie is mounted on a grand scale and also features Rashmika Mandanna as Yesubai Bhonsale, Divya Dutta as Sambhaji Maharaj's stepmother Soyarabai, and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The film was released in Indian cinemas on February 14, 2025.

According to early box office trends, Chhaava is expected to see a dip in collections on Day 11. Compared to Day 10, the film could see a drop of nearly 50%, placing its earnings in the range of ₹20-22 crore. However, even with this decline, the collection remains impressive. This isn’t the first time the movie has experienced such a dip; a similar trend was observed on its first Monday, but it quickly regained momentum over the weekend, collecting ₹44 crore on its second Saturday.

If Chhaava earns anywhere between ₹20-22 crore on Day 11, it will inch closer to the ₹350 crore milestone. Should the film surpass expectations, it could even cross that mark.

Chhaava Box Office Update

As per Sacnilk, Chhaava earned ₹44 crore on its ninth day (second Saturday), proving that its box office momentum remains strong. However, the trade was concerned about Day 10, as the film faced competition from the highly anticipated India vs. Pakistan match at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. While the match did lead to a slight drop in collections, Chhaava held steady, earning nearly the same as Saturday.

On its second Sunday, Chhaava earned approximately ₹40 crore. Made on a budget of ₹130 crore, the film has so far amassed ₹326.75 crore at the Indian box office by the end of its second weekend. This means that within just 10 days of its release, the film has already recovered 151.34% of its cost. The nationwide occupancy for the film stood at a staggering 54.63%.
