According to Sacnilk, Vicky Kaushal-starrer Chhaava collected Rs 165.75 crore in the first five days of its theatrical release. As per various media reports, the film is expected to touch the Rs 200 crore mark at the ticket window. It's been said that the Laxman Utekar film may benefit from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti holiday (on February 19).
For those unaware, the film is based on the life of brave Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He was the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Produced by Maddock Films, Chhaava's star cast also includes Rashmika Mandanna, Ashutosh Rana, Divya Dutta, Vineet Kumar Singh, and more.

On the day of Chhaava's theatrical release, Vicky Kaushal shared an Instagram post. In the post caption, the actor mentioned, "With prayers and gratitude in our hearts… we finally bring you CHHAAVA in cinemas TODAY!
