Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 5: Vicky Kaushal's film crosses Rs 150 crore; expects to reach a milestone on day 6

Chhaava, an epic historical action movie, has been ruling the box office since its release. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, the film has been getting praise because it is informative and emotionally engaging. Speaking about the box office collection, Chhaava crossed Rs. 150 crore on day 5 and is expecting to earn over Rs. 160 crore on day 6 too, according to Sacnilk's early estimates.

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 5 Update

According to Sacnilk, Chhaava earned Rs. 24.50 crore at the box office on day 5. The film continues to perform well, and in total, it has collected Rs. 165 crore. According to early estimates, the film will earn more than Rs. 166 crore and reach a milestone.

Chhaava receives love from Karan Johar

Karan Johar took to his Instagram Story and shared a poster of Chhaava. He penned, "#chaava!!!! Badhai ho on the BLOCKBUSTER success of a solid film with an unstoppable and emotionally visceral and relentless last act."

Meanwhile, OTTplay's review for Chhaava reads, "Vicky Kaushal excels with his impressive performance in Laxman Utekar's skillfully crafted film, which highlights Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj's valor. Chhaava is a must-watch!"

Vicky Kaushal's prep for Chhaava

A few days ago, Vicky shared a video, showcasing his transformation into Chhaava, a moniker given to the Maratha emperor.

"There was rigorous training for horse riding. There was weapon training, be it with a sword or laathi (stick), and action training. Each day, it was 6–8 hours of training," Vicky shared.

Chhaava will premiere on Netflix after its theatrical run ends. Generally, it takes 45 to 60 days for a movie to have an OTT premiere. The makers are yet to announce the official OTT release date of Chhaava. 

This historical epic features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna essays the character of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The star cast also includes Divya Dutta, Ashutosh Rana, and several others.
