Chhaava box office day 7 prediction: Vicky Kaushal starrer to remain strong after crossing Rs 200 crore mark

Chhaava Box Office Day 7 Prediction: Chhaava was one of the most anticipated films of the year. The historical drama is based on the life of the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of the great leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Produced by Maddock Films, the Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer continues to roar at the box office, and early trends suggest that even after nearly a week since its release, the film has maintained a stronghold.

Chhaava Day 7 Box Office Trend

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava is expected to earn around ₹18 to ₹19 crore on its seventh day. The film had a phenomenal run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Jayanti, earning approximately ₹30 crore on Wednesday. The special occasion gave the Vicky Kaushal starrer a significant boost, helping it cross the ₹200 crore mark on Day 6. 

As per Sacnilk, on its sixth day, Chhaava surpassed its Day 1 collection of ₹31 crore by earning approximately ₹32 crore, taking its grand total beyond ₹200 crore. This achievement makes it one of the biggest post-pandemic releases. As the movie completes its first week, a similar collection on Day 7 could set new records.

Chhaava Declared Tax-Free in Madhya Pradesh & Goa

With the film bringing the story of one of the greatest rulers of the Maratha Empire to the big screen, Chhaava has been declared tax-free in Goa by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Sawant announced,

"छत्रपती संभाजी महाराज की जय! It gives me great pleasure to announce that the movie 'Chhaava,' based on the life and sacrifice of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, will be tax-free in Goa."

He added,"The film explores the valor and courage of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in his fight for Dev, Desh, and Dharma. Played by Vicky Kaushal, it brings glorious history to the screen. The sacrifice of the second Chhatrapati of Hindavi Swarajya, who bravely fought against the Mughals and the Portuguese, is an inspiration for all of us.
देश धरम पर मिटने वाला। शेर शिवा का छाया था।। महापराक्रमी परम प्रतापी। एक ही शंभू राजा था।।"
