Vicky Kaushal's most-awaited film, Chhaava, has finally been released on the big screen. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the historical epic is based on the life of Maratha King Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Public reactions have started pouring in on social media and the general feedback is positive. Amid this, Katrina Kaif has reviewed her husband Vicky's movie and penned her thoughts on Instagram.

Katrina Kaif took to her official IG account and shared her thoughts about Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava. Praising her husband for his performance in the film, the actress wrote, "vickykaushal09 you truly are outstanding, every time you come on screen, every shot, the intensity you bring on screen, you are a chameleon the way you transform to your characters, effortless and fluid, I’m so proud of you and your talent.…(sic)."

She further lauded filmmaker Laxman Utekar for telling the 'incredible story' of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj brilliantly. "I'm in awe, the last 40 min of the film will leave you speechless. I’ve spent all morning wanting to go and rewatch it again. I’m lost for words at the impact of this film …..(sic)," she added.

Katrina went on to call producer Dinesh Vijan a 'true visionary' for his conviction and belief in 'carving a new trail of brilliance'. The actress concluded her note by mentioning that Chhaavais meant to be watched on the big screen.

Produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films, Chhaava features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai. The film's star cast also includes Vineet Kumar Singh, Divya Dutta, Neil Bhoopalam, Ashutosh Rana, and several others. After its theatrical run ends, Chhaava will premiere on Netflix. An official release OTT release of the film has not been announced yet.
