Vicky Kaushal is leaving no stone unturned to promote his upcoming film, Chhaava. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in key roles. The film is just one day away from its release (February 14), and the excitement around it is sky-high. The advance booking proves that the film is all set to take an impressive opening at the box office. Ahead of its release, Vicky, on February 13, was seen visiting Prayagraj to attend Maha Kumbh. He spoke to the media and expressed his excitement.

In Chhaava, Vicky will be seen essaying the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Rashmika will be seen as Yesubai Bhonsale, and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. The trailer left the audience mighty impressed further adding a thrill to watch the film in theatres. Before wowing the audience with his act, Vicky was seen reaching Prayagraj earlier today, February 13. While speaking to the media, he said that he was waiting to visit Maha Kumbh.

The actor said in Hindi, "Bahot achcha lag raha hai. Bahot samay se intezaar kar rahe the ke kab aane ka mauka milega." (It feels very nice. I have been waiting that when will I get a chance to come here.)

He added, "Ab aaye hai toh bahot bahot achcha lag raha hai aur bahot fortunate feel kar rahe hai Maha Kumbh ka hissa banke." (Now, that I am here I feel very nice and fortunate to be a part of Maha Kumbh.) Have a look:

An update on Chhaava's advance booking day 1

Chhaava will show the life of the second Chhatrapati of the Maratha Empire, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, who ruled from 1681 to 1689. Speaking about the advance booking, Sacnilk reported that over 3.18 lakh tickets have been sold as of now. Going by this figure, the first-day collection goes up to approx Rs 8.88 crore—excluding blocked seats. If we include the blocked seats, the total rises to Rs 10.82 crore. If the film manages to impress the audience, it will surely pick up due to positive word of mouth during the weekend.

Chhaava will hit theatres on February 14, 2025.
