Only a few film personalities in Indian cinema have the heart to applaud a hit film featuring their counterparts. In a heartwarming gesture from Chiranjeevi, the star added a congratulatory voice note, lavishing praise on Venkatesh for his performance in Amazon Prime Video's latest release Narappa. The film starring Venkatesh, Priyamani, Nasser, Karthik Rathnam, Rajeev Kanakala and Rao Ramesh in key roles, was directed by Sreekanth Addala.
Check Venkatesh's tweet below:
"Congratulations. I've just watched Narappa. What a transformation and what a performance! I never saw Venkatesh in the role, it was Narappa all the way. It's as if I was seeing a new Venkatesh. You've understood the character in depth and performed so well. There's no better film than Narappa to prove your penchant for experiments and succeeding in them. It's an effort you can always be proud of. This is such great teamwork," Chiranjeevi shared in a 45-second voice note that Venkatesh had shared across his social media handles.
Narappa is actor Venkatesh's first direct-to-OTT release in his career, while his co-star Priyamani has done a flurry of web movies and shows across multiple digital platforms. Venkatesh is awaiting the release of Drushyam 2 next (also an OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar) and is wrapping his portions for Anil Ravipudi's F3 soon. Chiranjeevi's next major release is Koratala Siva's Acharya, followed by the Malayalam film Lucifer remake directed by Mohan Raja.
