Chithha: Vikram Vedha directors Pushkar and Gayatri call Siddharth's emotional drama, a must-watch

With just three days to go for the release of Siddharth's next, Chithha, promotions for the emotional drama are in full swing. The film, directed by SU Arun Kumar, is all set to hit screens on September 28.

Pushkar and Gayatri all praise for the film
The film has been basking in the positive reviews from some of the leading directors in the industry, including Mani Ratnam, Vetri Maaran and Prem Kumar to name a few. The latest to join the bandwagon is Pushkar and Gayatri. Here's what the Vikram Vedha director has to say about the film. "Chiththa is a film that everyone needs to watch. There are no two ways about this. It's a very touching and moving film with a refreshing perspective towards the end. Siddharth is fantastic in the film and Arun Kumar is once again entertaining after his outing , Pannaiyarum Padminiyum. He is incredible."

Chithha revolves around the relationship between uncle and niece
Siddharth's film revolves around the relationship between an uncle and his school-going niece. The two share an incredible bond, but an untoward incident turns their life topsy turvy. Siddharth decides to take revenge against the perpetrators of the crime. Launching the film's trailer, Suriya wrote, "This one looks very special #Siddharth & #SuArunkumar always loved the content you both choose to give our audience! Chithha to clash with Iraivan and Chandramukhi 2
Vishal Chandrasekhar and Dhibu Ninan Thomas have worked on the music of Chithha. While Balaji Subramanyam has cranked the camera, Suresh A Prasad has handled its editing. CS Balachandar has helmed art direction and Yugabharathi has penned lyrics along with director Arun Kumar.Red Giant Movies has bagged the theatrical rights of the film. The film will lock horns with psycho thriller Iraivan and Chandramukhi 2, a sequel to Rajinikanth and Jyotika's Chandramukhi.
