Cirkus trailer launch: Does Deepika Padukone really like the Current Laga Re song? Ranveer Singh reveals...

Though the high-voltage performance and colourful frames from the heart of Ooty keep the audience glued to the screen, the big surprise comes in the last leg of the Cirkus trailer, where it is revealed that Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh shake a leg together in the Current Laga Re song.

During an interactive session with the media as part of the trailer launch of Cirkus, when asked what Deepika's reaction was to the song in the film, Ranveer said, "Yesterday, she came to the office and boss (referring to director Rohit Shetty) was showing her the video, and Deepika she found it..." Even before Ranveer could complete the sentence, actor Siddhartha Jadhav, who plays a pivotal part in the film, said, "Achha laga, achha laga, achha laga re" (singing to the tune of the song).

Nodding along, Rohit agreed that Deepika really liked the song.

Well, Ranveer-Deepika fans can't wait to watch the full dance number, though we do not know if the makers plan to release the video before the film's theatrical release.

Last time the power couple appeared together was in the cricket drama 83, in which Ranveer played the great Kapil Dev and Deepika played his wife, Romi Bhatia. It's a treat for fans whenever DeepVeer appear onscreen together, be it in Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani or Padmaavat.

Rohit Shetty's Cirkus is based on Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors, and also stars Pooja Hegde, Vrajesh Hirjee, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Sulabha Arya, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Sharma, Siddhartha Jadhav, Mukesh Tiwari and Tiku Talsania. It is all set to release in theatres on December 23.
