Citadel: Priyanka Chopra shares a 'golden' selfie from the sets of her espionage series

The global icon Priyanka Chopra can be seen in ‘rise and shine’ mode. The former Miss World is on a roll with her multiple projects either it’s in Hollywood or Bollywood. She is currently shooting for her forthcoming television mini-series titled Citadel, which also stars Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci in pivotal roles.

The actress has recently managed to share a selfie, which she called a ‘carfie,’ in the midst of her busy schedule. The latest social media post features the actress in bright golden sunglasses and captioned, “Hadn’t posted a #carfie in a while. #citadel (sic).”

While husband Nick Jonas commented on the pic with a ‘smiling face with heart-shaped eyes’ emoji.

According to Mid Day, the actress was recently caught up in a controversy due to her participation in the competition series 'The Activist.' However, after a big backlash, Priyanka issued an apology and said the criticism against the show was "heard" and accepted by her.

"The show got it wrong, and I'm sorry that my participation in it disappointed many of you. The intention was always to bring attention to the people behind the ideas and highlight the actions and impact of the causes they support tirelessly," the statement read.

PeeCee was last seen in an episode of Oprah Winfrey's daytime self-help talk show called Super Soul Sunday, which gathered immense recognition and lauds around the world. Meanwhile, her upcoming action-packed spy series also features Clayton T. Smith, Janis Ahern and Nikki Amuka-Bird among others. Citadel is anticipated to be released in 2022.
