Coincidence or plot twist? Anil Kapoor's golf outfit in Animal triggers discussions about a connection with Dil Dhadakne Do

Since the trailer dropped, the Internet has buzzed with intense discussions about the highly anticipated film Animal, which stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role and is set to release in just four days. People on the Internet are actively discussing the Sandeep Reddy Vanga film, with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, through extreme opinions, memes, and comparisons. The film also stars Anil Kapoor as RK's onscreen father, and now the internet has observed a bizarre coincidence between two of his films, Animal and Dil Dhadakne Do. 

Speculations surrounding Anil Kapoor's golf course costume connection

Anil's character, Balbir Singh, gets shot while playing golf in the trailer for the upcoming film, dressed in a powder blue T-shirt and white gloves. The veteran actor dons the same costume while playing golf in the opening scene of Zoya Akhtar's 2015 film. Coincidence? Did the filmmaker plan a plot twist back in 2015 itself, or is it just a coincidence? Only the makers can now address this peculiar connection between two films set against the backdrop of families in Delhi.

Overview of Animal's plot and star cast

Talking about Animal, this is the story of a son's unconditional love for his father. As their bond weakens, a series of unexpected events unfold, compelling the son to undergo a miraculous transformation driven by an intense desire for revenge.

Animal also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Ranbir's onscreen wife and Bobby Deol as the main antagonist. The film also has Triptii Dimri in an undisclosed role, while Prem Chopra, Suresh Oberoi, and Shakti Kapoor are in pivotal roles. 

The film's running time is three hours and 21 minutes, and the CBFC has given it an A rating. The theatrical release of Animal is scheduled for December 1, 2023.
