Sashi Preetam had composed music for films like Samudram and Gulabi in the past

Sashi Preetam, ad-filmmaker and popular Telugu music director who shot to fame in the early 90s with Krishna Vamsi's runaway success Gulabi, is embarking on a new journey and will test his luck as a director with a film titled Life of 3. Sashi Preetam has written the story, scored the music, penned the lyrics and is also the cinematographer of Life of 3, whose audio launch was held in Hyderabad on Wednesday, on his 51st birthday. His daughter Aishwarya Krishna Priya turns a producer with the film that stars Snehal Kamat, Santosh Anantharaman, and Chinni Krishna in key roles.
The film commenced its shoot in January earlier this year. Sashi Preetam, who suffered a heart attack in 2020, revealed that the near-death experience changed his perspective of life and reminded him that one must not give up on anything until their last breath. He added that life is a continuous struggle and a fighting spirit is necessary to move ahead. Life of 3 is based on this very approach towards life, he said. He is introducing many new talents through the film, including actors and singers. Sashi Preetam's close friends and actors Lohith Kumar, Vaibhav Surya and Chinni Krishna are part of the movie as well.
Expressing her happiness in producing her father's film, Aishwarya Krishna Priya felt that the film is her ode to all the sacrifices he has made as a single father to date. She reminisced many memories of working with him since her childhood and called Life of 3, her first step as a technician and a producer. Vaishali, Soujanya Varma, CVL Narasimha Rao have played supporting roles. The film is edited by Anirudh Mantripragada. Ajith Shukla, Varun Sadhu, NC Karunya, Samanvitha Sharma, Pratyusha Sharma, Pratyusha Palluri, Vidya Narayan Raghavan, Mrudula Sharma, Susheel Kumar too graced the audio launch.
