Actor Sathish is all set to be seen as a leading man in his upcoming horror comedy Conjuring Kannappan. The team recently posted a brand new poster in which Sathish is seen in the grip of a ghost. A ghost's hand is seen covering the actor's face. Right below the main picture, the actor is seen with a dreamcatcher in hand and is surrounded by his family.
A gist of the trailer
The trailer of the horror comedy was released recently. In the trailer, Sathish seems to have a recurring dream of being in an abandoned palace where he feels the presence of a ghost. When realises that he has been having the dream after he plucked a feather from a dreamcatcher, he warns his family against touching. However, all of them pluck a feather each and get caught in the palace. How the family tackles the ghost is the plot of the film.
Cast and technical team
The star cast for the film includes Regina Cassandra, Nasser, Anand Raj, Saranya Ponvannan, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley, Elli AvrRam, Jason Shah, Benedict Garrett, Namo Narayana, and Adithya Kathir to name a few. Selvin Raj Xavier, who had earlier worked as an assistant to Chimbu Deven and Sumanth Radhakrishnan, will mark his directorial debut in the film.
Music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by S Yuva and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. Mohana Mahendran will handle the art direction. Conjuring Kannappan is bankrolled by AGS Entertainment, marking their 24th production.
AGS Production bankrolls Thalapathy 68
In the meantime, the production house is producing Vijay's next, which is tentatively being referred to as Thalapathy 68. The Thailand schedule of the film was recently wrapped and Vijay has just returned to Chennai. The film's producer Archana Kalpathi had shared on her social media handle that the team had a gala time shooting on the occasion of Diwali.
