Just as Lovely Runner is about to come to an end, the K-Drama fans were looking at something interesting to keep them going. While The Atypical Family caught their curiosity for a while, it looks like the drama is headed for a sad ending. The ratings for Jang Ki-yong and Chun Woo-hee’s The Atypical Family, streaming on Netflix, saw a steep drop (3.5 percent) and needs to make a comeback to last among top 10 non-English shows viewed across the globe. The latest K-Drama Connection, on the other hand, got the top spot with an average rating of 6.1 percent. In case you are wondering where can you watch the trending crime-thriller series, we got you covered…

Where to watch Connection

Connection is airing on SBS. If you wish to watch the show online, you can do that through Viki, which is a subscription-based platform.

More about the crime-thriller series

Connection beat even the black-comedy Bitter Sweet Hell when it came to ratings. The show features Ji-sung as Jang Jae-kyung, Jeon Mi-do as Oh Yun-jin, Kwon-yool as Park Tae-jin, Kim Kyung-nam as Won Jong-soo, Jung Soon-won as Heo Joo-song and Jung Yoo-min as Choi Ji-yeon.

Jae-kyung is a top detective with a mysterious past. He teams up with the reporter Yun-jin, who is also his former high-school friend. They are investigating the death of their mutual friend. This demise affects their own lives too, so a lot is at risk.

No replacement for Queen of Tears yet

There are many shows out there but none like what Queen of Tears was. The biggest proof of it is in the form of The Midnight Romance in Hagwon’s failure. The show got surrounded by controversy over some ‘inappropriate scenes’ and the ratings for this series was noted at 4.2 percent (for its fifth episode).

While Lovely Runner is headed to its finale and is a nearly good replacement for Queen of Tears, it actually is Beauty and Mr. Romantic which is among the most-watched, with 15.26 percent. The show is out on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video as well as Viki.
