Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, consisting of eight episodes that span about 40–50 minutes, just dropped its latest season, which has fans reeling. This article contains spoilers for the latest season.

Produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios, the latest season of this Hostar Original series is directed by Rohan Sippy and has Pankaj Tripathi returning as Madhav Mishra along with Shweta Basu Prasad as Lekha. Others returning to their previous roles include Addinath Kothare, Kalyanee Mulay and Khushboo Atre. Joining the cast, meanwhile, are Purab Kohli as Neeraj, Swastika Mukherjee as Avantika, Aditya Gupta as Mukul, Deshna Dugad as Zara, and Gaurav Gera.

The season finale of Criminal Justice Season 3 revealed that the killer in the Zara Ahuja murder case was not in fact her stepbrother, Mukul, but rather Mahendra Awasthi, the property owner of the place Zara was scheduled to shoot at in the first episode. This killing was to avenge his daughter’s suicide, which he felt was propelled by Zara and her fans' online reactions to her emulation of Zara’s television character Bittu. They trolled and made fun of the 16-year-old, who was just a hardcore fan who idolised Zara. Thus, her father took revenge into his own hands, which comes out in a courtroom climax where Madhav Mishra (Tripathi) steals the show.

Twitter is immersed in praise for the actor, including tweets such as "Pankaj Tripathi is fantastic in the finale of Criminal Justice 3: Adhura Sach on #Hotstar. Pankaj Tripathi and Swastika Mukherjee brought top performances to this season, but overall the season was pretty lacklustre. The finale was boring and predictable. 6/10 for the season."

Many other tweets echo similar sentiments.

The trailer for Criminal Justice Season 3 aired on Disney+ Hotstar in June 2022, and the series wrapped up its eight and final episode in October 2022.
