Dacoit teaser: Adivi Sesh's film has stylish cuts, powerful villain, and gripping action

Adivi Sesh is one of the bankable stars in Telugu cinema, and to date, all his films have been super hits at the box office. After a gap of two years, he is back with his new film, Dacoit, which has Murnal Thakur as the female lead. The makers revealed the teaser today, and it looks top-notch.

Right from the first frame and the manner in which it is cut, the teaser is stunning, to say the least. Adivi Sesh plays a thief in this film and is in love with the character of Murnal Thakur. How his love story is challenged big time by a cop played by Anurag Kashyap is showcased in the promo.

The likes of Sunil are also seen in key roles in this action drama, being directed by Shaniel Deo, who makes his debut with this film. Though the story looks simple, the manner in which the action blocks are cut is amazing. Adivi Sesh is known as the king of thrillers, and things have gone to the next level with Dacoit.

Anurag Kashyap plays the main villain in the film, and the way his character is etched is just amazing. Speaking at the teaser launch, Anurag stated that he had to unlearn a lot of things and was even irritated with the way the film was being shot for longer hours and days. Anurag also adds that the moment he saw the final output, he was taken aback and says that Mrunal Thakur is the show stealer in the film.

When asked about the same, Murnal stated that roles like these come very rarely, and that is the reason she said okay to the film right away. One of the major highlights of the film is the usage of Nagarjuna's special item number, Kannepettaro, from the film Hello Brother. 

The remixed version was used as the BGM for the action blocks in the teaser, and it looks top-notch. Incidentally, Nagarjuna himself backs the film on his banner.

Danush Bhaskar has handled the camerawork, and the visuals are just amazing. With an amazing team on his side, Sesh surely has a winner on his hands. With the teaser, the makers also revealed that Dacoit hits the screens on March 19, 2026. Stay tuned for more updates.
