Darlings: Teaser of Alia Bhatt’s Netflix film, starring Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew, to be out tomorrow

Darlings is Alia Bhatt's debut film as a producer under the banner of her production firm, Eternal Sunshine Productions. Besides Alia, the film is co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and features Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Mathew in significant parts. The film is one of the most awaited films of the year and fans have been waiting to get a glimpse of the movie. And to much delight of the fans, the actor has announced when the teaser of the film will be out.

Alia went to Instagram today and shared a 39-second video preview from her forthcoming flick Darlings. The actress captioned her post, writing: "thoda dark … thoda comedy, DARLINGS teaser out TOMORROWS." As soon as the actress shared the short clip, the comment section was flooded with fans' excitement for the film.

Netflix recently produced a quirky video on its official social media account where the actors in the film were asked if the film will be out on Netflix and they were seen refusing to comment or diverting the conversation. The rights to the upcoming film have been purchased by the OTT platform.

Darlings is a black comedy that highlights the relationship between a mother and her daughter. The film's backdrop will be focused on a lower-middle-class household. The film is directed by Jasmeet K Reen, while the soundtrack is created by Vishal Bhardwaj.

Alia is currently working on her Hollywood debut, Heart of Stone, in which she co-stars with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. Tom Harper is directing the Netflix thriller. Apart from the big Hollywood project, she will also appear in the film Brahmastra with her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna Akkineni.

She will also be featured alongside Ranveer Singh in Karan Johar's flick Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, with Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif.
