Darlings: Vijay Varma shares big praise for the team of Alia Bhatt-starrer, calls it the best team one can ask for

Alia Bhatt’s black comedy thriller Darlings released on Netflix earlier last week and the movie has received good reviews following its release. Now Vijay Varma, who plays an important role in the movie, has taken to social media to share a note talking about the team behind the movie. 

Taking to Instagram, Varma wrote, “#Darlings is made with a lot of love and efforts of some of the most incredible creative minds and stalwarts. I was surrounded by people I learn from and aspire from. The best team one can ask for. Here’s the proof.”

The actor also shared a few photos with the cast and crew of the movie as well as photos from the sets. The first photo was one with Shah Rukh Khan, who was one of the producers on the film. A few photos also show him having fun and talking to his co-stars from the movie’s set. 

Darlings follows a wife who is trying to find her husband who has gone missing. The film kicks into gear when we are shown the reality of the events. The movie has received good reviews following its release, despite some netizens asking for it to be boycotted. 

“Vijay Varma, who plays Hamza in the film, is too good and you will enjoy loving to hate his character very well. The actor has been portraying grey shades onscreen for a long time, but he has made sure that they are not cliched in any way,” read the movie’s review on OTTplay. 

While the movie marks the directorial debut of Jasmeet K, it is also the first movie produced by Alia under the banner of Eternal Sunshine Productions. Darlings is now available to stream on Netflix.
