Story:

Abhimanyu and Asmita work on his book together when a huge mystery is out. How will they react to the news?

Review:

Dear Ishq commences from where the last episode ended. Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy is back in her role and Sandeep Soni’s Nannu is introduced with that. Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan joins them for the hilarious scene.

Niyati and Sehban both perform their roles well and go with the vibe of the show, which, surprisingly, has improved, at least at the start. Sehban, of course, kills it with his expressions and actions. Asmita, on the other hand, keeps trying but the music ruins her acting.

Vikas Grover’s Anirban is introduced before Kunal Verma’s Rizwan Khan. The latter has a great performance but as always, the music is of no help to their scenes. It in fact has the opposite effect.

The scenes that follow with Asmita and Abhimanyu make no sense. Even if love might make no sense, the scene is overdone, no doubt.

Puneet Tejwani’s Peter enters the scene and is better than his previous performances. There is a suspense factor to him constantly and it is evident even this time.

Kishwer Merchant’s Maya is here to join him. She, of course, beats him when it comes to acting.

There is a major twist to the show. It is, of course, overdone but leaves a sense of uneasiness because of the intense drama.

Sugandh Dhindaw’s Bani and Buneet Kapoor’s Shauvik come in briefer roles since. He tries but is unable to impress given his small screen space.

Asmita and Abhimanyu’s changing equation, definitely takes the cake. It is the highlight of the episode.

Verdict:

Finally, the makers have released an episode which is a good watch. With least distractions and great acting, this one is by far the best this show has to offer.
