Story:

Abhimanyu confronts Asmita about Rizwan. Will he learn the whole truth or will Asmita be blamed?

Review:

Dear Ishq commences with Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan taking off after his scene with Kunal Verma’s Rizwan Khan. Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy enters the scene with Beena Banerjee as her grandmom Charulata soon. This time, Niyati is slightly more appealing than Sehban.

And Dear Ishq is back with the random glimpses of Mumbai. This is before Sehban and Niyati come back in a scene. His emotional side here is as good as his flamboyant side.

Kishwer Merchant’s Maya just has a moment to perform, before Vikas Grover enters as Rizwan’s boyfriend Anirban. This is after Rizwan knows the whole truth. The drama in the scene is beyond intense. Vikas barely works in the role and Kunal, as always, does a good job in acting.

Buneet Kapoor returns as Shauvik and it is his other side. This causes intrigue about him. It unfortunately for him, does not end with that scene.

The switch in Dear Ishq scenes still doesn’t work. From glimpses of Mumbai to leaving one scene and jumping to the previous one, nothing really works.

The show gets a depressing tone. This definitely does not work for Dear Ishq.

Verdict:

This episode of Dear Ishq does work but only to an extent. It is only because Sehban and Niyati are fairly good actors. While the switch between the scenes don’t work, the scenes in themselves are a good watch.
