Deepika Padukone on working with Shah Rukh Khan in Pathaan: My relationship with him is an emotion, it's unconditional

After a gap of more than seven years, we are set to watch the sizzling chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone on the big screen in Pathaan. The espionage thriller marks the stars' fourth film, and fans can't wait to witness the magic again. Now, Yash Raj Films has released a video of Pathaan conversations with Deepika, in which the actor speaks at length about reuniting with SRK after many years.

She stated, "Well, it's always been incredible. I don't think I'll ever be able to express how I feel for him in words. For me, my relationship with him is a feeling, an emotion. It's just lots of love, and it's unconditional. I think we've been very lucky to have had the opportunity to work on some incredible movies, starting with Om Shanti Om; I started my career with him. We've had the opportunity to do different kinds of movies together. And to actually see both of us in this space was very exciting for me, as I'm sure it was for him as well."

Talking about seeing Shah Rukh in an action avatar, Deepika went on to say, "For me, as an audience member, I was really excited to see him do something like this spy action thriller. But I think what makes it even more special is that I'm in the movie with him and get to see him in a role that I haven't seen him in very often in these kinds of roles. Yeah, and I think it's our trust, love, and relationship that make this sort of film and the chemistry so special."

On dancing with the superstar on Jhoome Jo Pathaan, the Gehraiyaan actor shared, "When he and I danced together, we had a really good time. I think both of us are the kind of dancers that don't really worry about the technicality of a step. We just understand what a step is and have fun with it."

Deepika also recalled the pearls of wisdom that SRK gave her, saying, "Shah Rukh, you know, was the first to give me this piece of advice. He said, 'Always collaborate with people who you know you're going to have a good time with,' and I surely did on this film. And I think that's what will make this film a huge success."
