Dev on Rukmini Maitra’s birthday: My one and only ‘Satya’

It was Rukmini Maitra’s birthday on Tuesday, and her beau Dev took to his social media to wish her a special day with her photos from their upcoming film, Byomkesh O Durgo Rohoshyo. While the actor will be seen as the iconic sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi in the film, the actress will play Satyabati – Byomkesh’s wife. On Tuesday, Dev’s production house, which is also the producer of the film, revealed her hook as a pregnant woman. 

Meanwhile, Dev posted a bunch of photos of them together. Out of these photos, there are stills from this much-hyped film. Along with his post, he wrote, “My one and only Satya.”

Meanwhile, in the poster, Satyabati is seen wearing a plain red-and-beige cotton sari. In Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay’s novel, Satyabati is pregnant. In the photo, Rukmini is also seen with a baby bump. With her long hair and quintessential Bengali accessories, the actress looks ethereal in the poster as Satyabati. Directed by Birsa Dasgupta, the film will be released on August 11. Along with Deb and Rukmini, it also features Ambarish Bhattacharya, Satyam Bhattacharya, Debesh Chattopadhyay, Santilal Mukherjee, and others.
