Dharmendra drops a picture from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani; Ranveer Singh likes it

Legendary actor Dharmendra, time and again, defines that age is just a number. Even at the age of 87, he is driven by passion towards his work and has been continuously working for over 63 years in Bollywood.

Now, the multitalented actor is all set to feature on the big screen in the upcoming film titled, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The movie will feature actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in titular roles and is directed by ace filmmaker Karan Johar. A press statement by the producers of the film – Dharma Productions – stated that this film is a creation in fond memory of legendary filmmaker, late Yash Chopra.

Clearly, with such a stellar cast and crew, the buzz around the film is quite high. To add fuel to the excitement levels, Dharmendra dropped an unseen picture on Instagram from the sets of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The senior actor captioned the picture: “Rocky aur Rani ki Prem kahani Friends, my love for camera.”

Soon after the senior actor dropped a smiling picture of himself, this post received likes from over 25 thousand Instagram users. Not only this, but actor Ranveer Singh also liked the development.

Dharmendra’s children, Esha Deol, Bobby Deol also showered their love in the comments section. While Esha wrote, “Lovely Papa”, Bobby Deol dropped a bunch of red hearts. Casting director Shanoo Sharma also commented, “Best”

Prior to Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Dharmendra was last seen in the Punjabi film, Double Di Trouble which was released in 2014. Thus, the upcoming Karan Johar directorial marks his return to the big screen after a gap of nine years.

Interestingly, in 2012, Dharmendra was awarded India's third-highest civilian honour, Padma Bhushan, by the Government of India.

Dharmendra is married to actress Hema Malini. The couple has two daughters, Esha Deol (an actress, born in 1981) and Ahana Deol (an assistant director, born in 1985).

Prior to marrying Hema, Dharmendra was married to Parkash Gaur. With Parkash, Dharmendra has two kids namely Sunny and Bobby. However, owing to personal differences, Dharmendra separated from Parkash and later married Hema.
