There is good news for Chiyaan Vikram and Dhruv Vikram fans. The team of Dhruv's upcoming film with director Mari Selvaraj, dropped a brand new poster from the project, making fans elated.
New poster hints at a sports drama
The poster was released by Pa Ranjith, whose production house, Neelam Productions is bankrolling the film. Taking to his social media handle, Ranjith dropped the poster and wrote, "Happiest birthday wishes dear #DhruvVikram. Wishing you good health and success. May you achieve everything you've dreamt off So happy to be working with you, @mari_selvaraj @Tisaditi @officialneelam @NeelamStudios_ (sic)."
Mari Selvaraj shared the same poster on his handle and wished Dhruv on his birthday yesterday. He wrote, "Happiest Birthday Dhruv!! Good times await you every year and this year shall bring you loads of success!! #HappyBirthdayDhruv @beemji @chiyaan @NeelamStudios_ @Tisaditi @officialneelam (sic)."
Film put on hold for Maamannan
Udhayanidhi Stalin, who wrapped up his career in acting with Maamannan, stated in an interview that he needed to thank Vikram and Dhanush. He revealed that Mari Selvaraj was busy with the pre-production of Dhruv Vikram's film when the idea for Maamannan was rolled out.
Talking to Cinema Vikatan, Mari Selvaraj said, "The script for Dhruv's film was finalised and I was about to begin the shoot in a month's time." Udhayanidhi then spoke to Vikram and requested that he do Mari Selvaraj's film first as he was planning to wrap his acting career. Vikram agreed.
Vikram drops throwback pictures of Dhruv
In the meantime, Vikram dropped a series of throwback pictures of Dhruv on his social media handle yesterday. The pictures of Dhruv bears a striking resemblance to his father and fans have been going gaga over the same. Dhruv thanked his father for sharing the adorable pictures and said that he didn't even realise that these pictures existed in the first place.
