On Sunday, Shah Rukh Khan made a rare public appearance in full view, attending Baba Siddique's Iftaar party. The most striking feature of SRK's appearance was the absence of his characteristic ponytail, which he had worn for nearly two years. The reason for this is that SRK has started filming for Raju Hirani's film at Mumbai's Film City studio.

An industry source told ETimes that Shah Rukh Khan has already shot for Raju Hirani's film for roughly three days. There may be a change of location, and therefore, the shooting schedule may be disrupted for a few days before SRK and his leading lady, Taapsee Pannu, resume filming.

According to one publication, the film will be a social comedy about immigration. Though the makers have yet to officially announce the film, it has Taapsee Pannu as the lead actress. On Friday morning, at 9 a.m., Hirani began filming Taapsee's parts. Shah Rukh Khan arrived around 4 pm to greet the crew, but the shoot began on April 16.

It's worth noting that SRK arrived at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's wedding celebration party in a fully curtained car on Saturday evening, preventing the paparazzi from photographing his appearance for the day. Perhaps it was an attempt to keep his looks hidden.

Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Atlee have already completed 60% of their project. He'll be seen with Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra, two Bollywood female actors. In the month of June, SRK will join the Tiger 3 sets to shoot a rare combination scene with Salman Khan.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan will return to the big screen on Republic Day 2023 with Pathaan. Deepika Padukone and John Abraham star in the flick. Yash Raj Films will produce the film, which will be directed by Siddharth Anand.
