Didi No 1 benefits from CM Mamata Banerjee’s special episode

The TRP report of this week came out on Thursday. Rachna Banerjee has been at the centre of discussion for the last few weeks for her show Didi Number 1. How did the show fare? How did Sourav Ganguly’s Dadagiri perform? 

For the first time, CM Mamata Banerjee came to a reality show, and that was Didi Number 1. Hence it created a buzz. Many people watched the show. It was reflected in the Non-Fiction TRP result as well. 

Here is the Non-Fiction TRP below: 

Didi no. 1 (Sunday Dhamaka): 9.6 /Jalsa Fiction (Sunday): 5.5

Dadagiri Season 10: 5.9/ Jalsa Fiction: 4.7

Didi Number 1 Season 9 (weekdays): 2.8

Ghare Ghare Zee Bangla: 1.5

Isti Kutum (4.30–5.30 PM): 1.4 and 1.7 (Star Jalsa)

Bojhe Na Se Bojhe Na (11 PM-12 AM): 1.7 (Star Jalsa)

Anurager Chnowa: 6.3 (Star Jalsa)

Badhua: 6.3 (Star Jalsa)

The list made it clear that Mamata Banerjee’s presence beat every other show and made the Sunday episode of Didi Number 1 a megahit. The other guests in the episode were Sourav Ganguly’s wife, dancer Dona Ganguly. Glimpses of the episode are now viral on social media. 

Mita Chatterjee, Sakuntala Barua, and Haimanti Sukla also came as the guests in this week’s Didi Number 1. Dadagiri, hosted by Sourav Ganguly, also did well this week. Zee Bangla always beats Star Jalsa in Non-Fiction TRP. This week was not an exception. However, two serials, Anurager Chnoa, and Badhua, were the facesavers of Star Jalsa. 

In the fiction shows, Neem Phuler Madhu was the TRP topper. Didi No 1 streams on Zee5.
