DNS update is here: Dhanush-Nagarjuna-Sekhar Kammula project first look to be out soon

We had earlier reported that actor Dhanush will be collaborating with director Sekhar Kammula for a film. While the makers have been calling the film with its working title DNS, the team announced on Thursday that the film's title will be unveiled on Friday for the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. Besides Dhanush, DNS will feature a stellar ensemble star cast including Nagarjuna, Jim Sarbh and Rashmika Mandanna in prominent roles.

What do we know about DNS?

DNS is an acronym, standing for the initials of Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Sekhar Kammula. The film will mark Dhanush’s first collaboration with National Film Award-winning director Sekhar Kammula. The upcoming project is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, with the plot of the film kept under wraps. Rashmika Mandanna who has become a prominent face in the Telugu film industry, will be playing the female lead. The film had gone on floors earlier and has wrapped up with two schedules.

The first look of DNS will be unveiled on Friday at 4.05 PM for the occasion of Maha Shivaratri. It will be exciting to watch the interesting pool of talents from different industries come together for DNS. With Jim Sarbh and Nagarjuna in the project as well, DNS is one of the much-awaited movies from Dhanush’s exciting line-up of films.

Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao are backing the film. The technical crew consists of Niketh Bommi as the cinematographer, while Ramakrishna Sabbani and Monika Nigotre are handling the production design. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Although a release date is yet to be mentioned, DNS will have a multilingual release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

Dhanush becomes the busiest star

Dhanush’s line-up is filled with some exciting projects. The actor, who was last seen in Captain Miller, has announced two films as a director, Raayan and Nilavuku Enmel Ennadi Kobam. While the first film is expected to be a star-studded gangster action drama, the latter looks to be a light-hearted romantic drama featuring a young cast.

Dhanush is also expected to play music maestro Ilaiyaraaja in the latter’s biopic. The actor is expected to be directed by filmmaker Arun Matheswaran.
